Erie County Volunteer Fire Service Awards Dinner

On April 6, 2024, Brighton had a tremendous night at the Erie County Volunteer Fire Service Awards Dinner. Our department was given the President’s Award for accumulating the most fire training hours in all of Erie County over the past year. It is a great honor to receive this award and a testament to our continued dedication to training and education. Thank you and congratulations to all who contributed!
In addition, Commissioner Wally Byers was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to the fire service and President Shawn Tracey was recognized in the 21-40 Years of Service category. Both men beat out several other candidates for these honors. Congratulations to both of you, well deserved!
