| (Hazardous Materials Emergency Response): A 1996 Pierce Lance heavy-duty rescue vehicle powered with a v-6 Detroit diesel with 400 horsepower. This vehicle is designed as a mobile fire ground command post/communications center, equipment truck, people mover, and a hazardous materials operations center.
It is equipped with a Wil-Burt telescoping light mast and Pelco telescoping camera, along with a state-of-the-art weather station, all powered with an AMPS generator. HAMER 7 has specialized equipment such as various meters, level A/B suits, decontamination equipment, and rehab supplies. |
